Our baby boy is finally here! Sorry I've been busy but I wanted to post pictures and tell everyone about our new baby.
After waiting for what seems like forever I finally went into labor on Monday (Memorial Day). I was having contractions most of the day but after laying down for a nap and waking up around 3:30, the contractions really seemed to set in. We were invited to spend some time with friends at a BBQ so we went and enjoyed tons of food and fun.
After getting home I realized that I was in real labor. I decided we needed to get ready to go to the hospital. After running around the house like a nut and getting everything ready, I decided to rest for awhile and see what happens. At this point my contractions were painful but not really consistent. At about 10pm we decided to drop of Marley and head to the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital, I was afraid that I was going to be sent home but after being checked I was already dilated to a 7.

My Dr. came in and decided she was going to break my water and get things moving. At this point I was dilated to an 8. The Dr. wanted to make sure the baby was head down- I know this seems silly but she thought his head felt kind of squishy and wanted to be sure before I had to push. She ordered an ultrasound and decided to break my water and then the chaos began. The baby's heartbeat completely dropped and panic set in. The nurses were trying everything to find the baby's heartbeat. After a quick ultrasound, my Dr found that the baby was head down and I was told to push like crazy. I don't even think I was pushing during contractions but the Dr. was really concerned about me delivering as fast as possible. After pushing for only 10 minutes, Michael was born.
My Dr. found that the cord was wrapped around his neck. When she broke my water it basically was choking him- that's why everything was crazy. Michael was crying before he was completely delivered and I'm so excited that he's finally here.
Big sister Marley is so proud of her new baby brother and loves him so much. She's constantly smothering him with kisses. She's also very protective and tells people "no" when others are holding him.
Here's some more pictures:
This is where the magic happened.

Proud Daddy.
We're so excited he's finally here!
Going Home!
