My parents recently moved to Nogales- yes Nogales. My dad took a job there as the city Utilities Director. After finding a home and settling in they love it. We really wanted to visit earlier but it's been hard to with Mike's calling and being pregnant. We decided now or never, so we went there this weekend.
I have to say that its definately not what I expected. My dad loved showing us around the whole city- which is nicer than what I thought it would be. I especially love my parents home. Its in a quiet neighborhood, but ironically you can see the acutal border from thier front door. While we were there we often saw border patrol in the neighborhood and heard choppers flying around. My parents house also has a pool, which Marley was excited to see, but wasn't as excited to swim in- it was really cold. We spent most of the time just hanging out and not having to do anything- which is really what I like to do.

Don't ya love how they can keep their pacifier in and cry at the same time!! She is SO sweet in her little swimsuit and hat.
I love her hat! :-) That is nice that it is nice down there. I have been there, but not since I was a little girl, so I don't remember it. It is nice to get away now and then and not do anything but relax! :-)

How far away are your parents from you now? That is awesome that they have a pool, that would be so much fun.
