After church on Sunday I decided to take some pictures of the kids and Mike for Father's day. If you can't tell, wrangling two kids to take a picture isn't that easy. I love how Mike has a huge smile on his face the whole time.
I'm so thankful for Mike and his dedication to be such a great dad. I'm also thankful for my dad, who I have many great memories with. I think it's great that we have this day to celebrate fathers.
We also had an interesting day on Sunday as well. Our air conditioning stopped working for some reason. It's done this before, but it started working again shortly after it stopped- so we decided not to call anyone out to check it out-BIG mistake. Well this time it wasn't working for almost 12 hours, and since it was Sunday and Father's Day we couldn't get anyone out to look at it. Did I also mention that it was 112 degrees on Sunday? I felt horrible for Marley and Michael. Every time I nursed Michael he would be drenched by the time he was done eating from sweat. Marley also learned a new word. Guess what it is? Hot. She was so hot that we let her run around in a diaper. Here's some pics of Marley looking "white trashish". Her hair even looks like she has a mullet since she's sweaty.

That is horrible that your AC went out. I remember last summer the power went out here and it was miserable for hours. Fortunately it started raining and that cooled things off a little. I'm sorry you guys had to go through that. I know it is quite a bit warmer where you are compared to here. BTW, I am sorry that I have not called. I was thinking about it the other day and wasn't sure if you would have time to talk seeing as you are now a mother of 2 little ones. Why don't you just call me when you have the time. Then I won't worry that I am interupting anything! Talk to you soon!
So cute Kellie! Poor little kids, I cant imagine how hot that would be! I think its hot when its 90!! I love the fathers day picts, Michael is sooooooooo cute! Marley too! You can tell she loves being a big sister
I hope you got everything fixed. If it happens again you can call and come over to our house. Cute pictures.
I hope Mike had a good father's day! What cute kids you have! Poor thing with your AC out. You know you could have called us and hung out in our coolness. :-)
I feel your pain.. we just had no AC two weeks ago. It was awful. If you need a place to go.. you can come over here.. seriously.. that is rough to sit in the heat!
Great father's day pics! So sorry to hear about your AC. We had the same thing happen the night before,it was miserable. Only we were able to get someone out and they charged us outrageous fees for coming out at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. You can call us if it happens to you again. It's rough for adults to be hot, but even worse for those little ones.
