How they grow

11-16-07

So last night I was looking through old pictures and videos of Marley, to see similarities between her and Michael. I stumbled along this and got so sad. I can't believe how much she's grown. I felt like a dork looking at videos and pictures with tears welling up in my eyes. Does anyone else do this?

I don't get it. I love that Marley is doing so much but, I miss that little face and the little noises she used to make before she was talking. I also realized that this is going to continue. And this cycle will continue again, not only with Marley, but with Michael, and again with every other child I have.

Well I'm at lest thankful that I took some time to save memories. This is something that I haven't been great with especially with Michael. But this was also a wake up call for me to make more of an effort to take pictures and save these things so that later I can enjoy them later when their grown.

Today:)

I totally do that! I'm a big fan of preserving as much about my kids at every stage as I can. I regularly look through what I have and often find myself crying because these beautiful moments come and go so fast! It's weird how you enjoy what the kids are doing so much now, yet still totally miss what they just outgrew.

I do the same thing, thats why I figure I just have to treasure every second, it all changes so fast. Thats probably why my kids are so spaced apart, because I just cant get enough of them, its crazy! Like Ryan he is still my baby...boy is he spoiled!! Pictures and videos are the best, sometimes people think I go overboard, but I cant get enough of it. I remember crying when I dropped Kyle off when I was heading to the hospital because I was so sad that he wasnt going to be my baby anymore. They do grow up way to fast, thats for sure!!

I think every mom does this. It makes you sad that they are leaving the baby stage.. but don't worry.. it gets exciting to see them learn new things and make friends. ;) The more kids you have, I think the less hard it becomes.

I completely understand! And I have a question for you. Where did you get that cute wallpaper? Can you tell me how to even get the wallpaper on my blog? I'm so lost! :-)

Kellie, you are the cutest mom. I still can't believe how much time has passed and how much has changed for both of us since the good ol' days of Wingers. I am so happy that you found me here and I hope that we can keep in touch as we experience different things in life. Your children are absolutely adorable! :)
